Welcome to Grace City Church

Thanks for checking out Grace City Church in Eugene, Oregon. If you’re exploring churches for the first time, returning after some time away, or simply curious about faith, we’re really glad you’re here.

Eugene has many churches, and you might be wondering, “Which one is right for me?” The truth is, more than one church could be a great fit. What matters most is finding a church where you can grow spiritually, experience genuine community, and be formed by the grace of Jesus at a healthy and honest pace.

If you’re searching for a welcoming, Bible-centered church in Eugene, Oregon, you might be asking questions like:

  • Is there a church near me in Eugene?

  • What does this church believe and teach from the Bible?

  • Is this a good church for families and kids?

  • What should I expect at a Sunday worship service?

  • Is church just on Sundays, or is there community during the week?

We’re glad you’re asking those questions. Let us walk through a few of them together.

Is Grace City Church Near Me in Eugene?

Grace City Church gathers on Sunday mornings in North Eugene at the Youth for Christ building on Crescent Avenue. While our physical location is in North Eugene, our church family comes from all across Eugene, Springfield, and the greater Lane County area, with some even traveling from surrounding towns like Brownsville.

We’re a growing and diverse church community made up of people from different backgrounds, life stages, and spiritual journeys. Whether you’re new to faith, returning to church, or have followed Jesus for many years, you’re welcome here.

Does Grace City Church Teach the Bible?

At Grace City Eugene, we believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and a trustworthy guide for life. We teach the Scriptures because we believe God still speaks, forms, and transforms people through them today.

Our sermons and resources are rooted in the Bible and designed to be clear, thoughtful, and relevant. We don’t shy away from difficult passages or challenging topics. Instead, we approach them with humility, trusting that God uses His Word to shape our hearts, renew our minds, and help us live with wisdom and purpose (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

If you’re looking for a Bible-teaching church in Eugene that takes Scripture seriously while remaining pastoral and accessible, you’ll feel at home here.

Is Grace City Church a Good Fit for Families and All Ages?

Some churches are known for focusing on one specific age group or life stage. Grace City Church is intentionally multi-generational. Our community includes young families, college students, young adults, singles, and older adults—people walking with God in many different seasons of life.

We believe the church is strongest when generations worship, learn, and serve together. This shared life creates depth, care, and spiritual formation that blesses everyone involved.

What Is a Sunday Worship Service Like at Grace City Church?

Our Sunday worship gatherings begin at 10:00 AM and typically last about 75 minutes.

Our atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Most people dress casually—jeans, sweatshirts, and everyday clothing are common. There’s no pressure to dress a certain way. Come as you are.

A typical Sunday service includes:

  • Several worship songs with live music

  • A brief moment for giving (guests are never expected to give)

  • A few announcements about church life

  • A 35-minute sermon rooted in the Bible

  • A final worship song to close

Our goal is to create a worship service that feels reverent, approachable, and accessible—especially for first-time visitors.

Is Church More Than Just Sundays?

We believe church is meant to be more than attending a service once a week. At Grace City Church, community deepens through Life Groups, service opportunities, outreach throughout Eugene and Lane County, and regular events during the year.

These spaces are where friendships grow, faith is practiced, and people experience care, support, and encouragement in everyday life.
