Introducing EQUIP

EQUIP is a seventh month, ministry training school to help introduce you to biblical and theological studies, train you for effective ministry, and equip you to be a leader in our community.

Curriculum

Bible Survey

Learn how to study the books, genres, and historical background of the Bible.

Discipleship

Develop a philosophy of multiplying disciples of Jesus and growing in the faith.

Biblical Theology

Understand the Bible as one, big story that ultimately points to Jesus.

Leadership

Become equipped and empowered to serve the church with your gifts, strengths, and passions.

Church History

Learn about the major missionary and denominational movements from the last 2000 years.

Missions

Consider the variety of ways that the church is called to serve God and others.

Meet Your Instructors

Chris Zauner
Lead Pastor

Casey Olsen
Associate Pastor

Pastor Chris Zauner has served in vocational ministry for more than a decade and has pastored Grace City Eugene since its launch in April of 2016. He is an experienced disciple maker, small group multiplier, and servant leader. He is a man of many gifts and strengths and has a lot to offer to those interested in growing as leaders in our church.

Pastor Casey Olsen has served in our church through a variety of roles since January of 2019. He is passionate about taking biblical and theological studies and helping them become easily understood and applied for everyday life. Pastor Casey also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Theology at Northwest University and is excited to bring his classroom experience to EQUIP.

FAQs

  • EQUIP will meet Wednesday nights from 6-9 PM from October 18th through the first week of May. There will be occasional weeks off seasonal breaks. Students are required to attend 90% of gatherings to officially complete EQUIP.

  • EQUIP only costs $150 for the year. This is an amazing price for the level of content you will receive through this course.
