Most of us live with certain cycles that keep showing up in our lives. Patterns of sin we have tried to break. Areas of brokenness we keep bumping into. Disruptions in our peace, our relationships, and our ability to move forward. And so often, we only approach those patterns on the surface. We try harder, add a new habit, or assume this is just “how I am.” But Scripture is clear that there can also be spiritual roots beneath what we see, and we are not meant to fight for freedom with willpower alone.

That is why this winter we are launching Establish, a discipleship group designed to help you recognize the spiritual roots behind unhealthy patterns, receive freedom and healing through the victory of Jesus, and build a storm-proof foundation for everyday life in Christ.

Who this is for

Establish is for everyone, no matter how long you have been walking with Jesus. In fact, our hope is that every person at Grace City will take Establish within the first year of us offering it. High school students are welcome to join as well.

What to expect

Weeks 1–8 are built around biblical teaching and small-group discussion to help you stand firm when life is shaking and learn to live from what is true. Then we gather for Victory Day, a focused and guided day of prayer and ministry, where you will be led to receive victory in Christ and equipped to walk it out daily. Finally, we wrap up with two concluding gatherings called Equip and Empower, where we practice what we have learned and learn how to walk this out in the strength of the Spirit and in the support of church community.

• Victory Day: Saturday, March 14, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (complete participation required, no childcare provided)

• Cost: $30 (includes workbook, Purple Book Devotional, and Victory Day food)
