A Faith-Fueled Step Toward a Long-Term Home for Grace City Church

Why “Prepare for Rain”?

We believe God is calling Grace City Church into a season of faith-filled preparation. Just as a farmer prepares the soil before the rain comes, we are preparing our hearts, lives, and finances for what we believe God is about to do in and through our church. The Prepare for Rain Campaign is our collective step of obedience, anticipation, and trust as we believe God will provide a long-term home for our church in the city of Eugene.

What Is the Campaign?

Prepare for Rain is a one-year capital campaign, launching June 1, 2025, with the goal of raising $100,000 toward a future permanent facility for Grace City Church.

We are not waiting for a building to show up before we move—we are stepping out in faith before the opportunity arrives, believing God will open the right doors at the right time.

Why Now?

We’ve seen God moving in undeniable ways:

  • Two growing Sunday services

  • Expansion in campus and high school ministries

  • A growing hunger for gospel impact across our city and beyond

With increasing momentum comes the need for a long-term anchor point—a place where we can gather, grow, serve, and send from for generations to come. As our leadership has prayed, fasted, and sought counsel, we believe now is the time to act in faith.

Our Goal: 100% Participation

This campaign isn’t just about dollars. It’s about faithful obedience and spiritual unity. Whether you’ve been part of Grace City for years or are just starting your journey, we’re inviting every person to be involved in one or more of the following ways:

Give

  • Start Tithing – Commit to begin honoring God with your finances regularly.

  • Give Monthly – Pledge a monthly gift above your tithe toward the campaign.

  • Give a One-Time Gift – Make a sacrificial gift in faith for our future home.

Pray

Commit to regularly pray for the Prepare for Rain campaign, our future building, and the spiritual harvest we believe is coming.

How to Get Involved

Each household will receive a Commitment Card in May. We’re asking every family to prayerfully consider their part and bring that card on Commitment Sunday: June 1, 2025.

Let’s believe together—not for a building alone—but for a harvest of changed lives, growing disciples, and a church that’s firmly rooted to advance the gospel in Eugene and beyond.

God’s Already Moving

Before this campaign was even announced, our leadership team stepped forward in faith—and as of launch day, over $41,000 has already been pledged. We’re nearly halfway there, and we’re just getting started.
