In years past, Good Friday services are heavier occasions for our church. We remember the heaviness of sin and humanity’s responsibility in Christ’s death on the cross. While this is a powerful way to remember Good Friday, we also recognize that this style of service is not as powerful in a virtual context. So this year we have chosen to reflect on the fact that this day is remembered as Good Friday. Christian artist KB once said, “The worst day in human history is remembered as "Good Friday." Why? Because no day in history have humans been loved so much!”
It was God’s plan that we would be saved through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and this is good news for our community.
Our Good Friday service will be made up of worship songs, Scripture readings, a spoken word, and a short encouragement from Pastor Chris.
Join us for this virtual service on Facebook on Friday, April 2nd at 7 PM.
